Enterprise Application Services
The Enterprise Application Services (EAS) unit manages a range of enterprise-level software that is either locally developed or vendor supplied.

The Human Resources team is charged with the development, management and maintenance of the administrative systems encompassing human resources, benefits, and payroll. These systems provide core support for services directly impacting University personnel. The unit also provides a wide range of interfaces to external vendors supporting payroll and benefits processes.

The Financial Records team supports the development, management, and maintenance of administrative Financial Records related software, purchasing software, sponsored programs related systems, as well as a number of electronic data interface feeds into and out of the institution. These systems include both the standard ‘green screen’ systems developed in-house, JAVA based web systems augmenting older character based systems, externally purchased software such as Ariba Purchasing, electronic forms, and web-based user-self-service systems such as DMAS.

Third Party Applications is the team managing enterprise-wide third-party software in support of system owners outside of IT. Working closely with system owners, this group manages new installations, upgrading, patching and ongoing support for packages, providing a liaison between IT and the system owners, and between the University and the vendors on technical issues. Examples include: MEDICAT student health system, Studio Abroad study abroad management application, and KRONOS timekeeping system.
