The University of Miami is committed to providing professional development opportunities, including Microsoft Office training. Courses are currently available featuring the Office applications you use every day, such as Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Skype for Business. Additional topics will be added in the future. All trainings are applicable for PC (versions 2013 and newer) and Mac (versions 2011 and newer) and Office 365 online.

Skype for Business

Are you looking to create a more collaborative work environment and increase accessibility to remote locations? Learn how to utilize both desktop and mobile Skype for Business (formerly Microsoft Lync), an alternative real-time communication tool, to initiate and accept instant messaging, phone, and video calls. You will learn how to upload attachments, send files, manage contacts, join scheduled meetings, manage participants, and use meeting presenter tools such as desktop or application sharing and whiteboard.
