- What is Hyland Community? Hyland Community is a central location to network with other Hyland customers in the same industry, share points of view, ask questions, research OnBase products, view upcoming Hyland events, and access related sites, such as User Training and much more. (Note: Registering on the Hyland Community site is required to access the training site.)
- What is Hyland Training? Through an enterprise-wide license the University of Miami employees can sign up and take many OnBase training courses at no charge.
- What is Hyland Premium Training? Also, available at no charge, Premium training includes technical training on many components of Hyland OnBase.
Glossary
- Unity Client (Windows only) is an OnBase desktop application for document management, offering the familiar look and feel of Microsoft Office. With intuitive ribbon style toolbars and tabs and easy access to features, users can easily navigate and perform their primary job tasks with little or no training.
- Web Client is a web based application for document management. Offering access to the same data as the Unity Client, the Web Client offers the familiar look and feel of web-based applications.
- Citrix – For Mac users wanting to access the Unity Client, the University's Citrix desktop can provide access at no charge. In addition, for any remote users who want to access the Unity Client, Citrix offers a real-time solution that can be accessed from any site. To request access to Citrix, please submit an incident using the UService self-service portal and in the title specify the following: "Request for Citrix access to the OnBase folder."
- Virtual Print Driver – Allows for redirecting an online documents for storage in OnBase. For example, emails can easily be captured in OnBase by selecting, File > Print > Hyland Software Virtual Print Driver.
- Disconnected Scanning – Allows for capture of documents to OnBase. Documents may then be viewed through the Unity or Web Client.
